SAYEED SHAHIDI...
made his theatrical debut December 2010 In the movie Unthinkable. Sayeed and his sister, Yara (actress from
Imagine That) will play the son and daughter of Samuel L. Jackson. Seven year old Sayeed is the quietest of the three
Shahidi children, but the one lovingly referred to as the "kid comedian" by his
sister and other actors. Sayeed, best known as Bill, from the ABC
Comedy In the
Motherhood (2009), is the voice of Donny McStuffins on the
upcoming animated series Don McStuffins (Disney) and currently plays the son of Blair Underwood in
the The
Event (NBC).
Sayeed, a veteran commercial actor, says he's not sure what he loves most, commercials, print work, television or
film! One thing is for sure, no matter what type of work he is doing, he makes a point of having fun. Sayeed was born
in Minneapolis, but relocated to California for his father’s line of work. Sayeed loves the warm weather in California,
but has a great time visiting home to attend the yearly Minnesota Corn Festival!
Sayeed began his career at six months old, working along side his mother in print ads. Sayeed can be seen in such campaigns as Walmart, Forever 21, US Census, Tropicana and Subway, just to name a few. He frequently has the opportunity to work with his mother and sister in various print and broadcast campaigns, and recently had the opportunity to work with his entire family for a Comcast commercial.
In his free time, Sayeed loves creating new dance moves, listening to audio books, flipping, twisting and turning
in the air and taking Tung Tso Do. Sayeed's favorite subject in school is recess....go figure!
